Condi's Husband! Just a slip of tongue???
This is revealing....

At a party....Rice was reportedly overheard saying, “As I was telling my husb—” and then stopping herself abruptly, before saying, “As I was telling President Bush.”

1. A single person would never say "my husband"
Edited on Tue Apr-20-04 10:58 AM by Jack_Dawson
Unless there was something subliminal going on. Did this really happen? I find that hard to believe.

6. A single person would never say "my husband"
Even if there was something subliminal going on! It's just not in the single person's lexicon, y'know?

14. Roger that
Unless of course the person was so far gone he or she believed she was somehow married to the boss. Good Gawd all of this is very frightening.

15. true -- my boss got hitched at age 50, and she can't say the h-word
She even hesitates before saying "partner" or "spouse", and usually ends up with "guy". We tease her about it all the time.

2. There were a bunch of posts about this yesterday...
I agree, that's a bizarre slip of the tongue for someone who's never been married.

Use the search function, and search for condi and hubby or husband for yesterday!

3. I've often found their close working relationship a but suspicious.
Hey, not that there's anything wrong with that! If Bill can have an intern, why not the NSA?

But it just makes a lot of sense.

5. In The "Vanity Fair" Article It Said That Condi....
Edited on Tue Apr-20-04 11:31 AM by K8-EEE
Has NEVER once had an opinion of her own on anything....she hangs around waiting to see which way GWB gets pulled and once he makes up his so-called "mind" her job is to deem any fact that gets in the way "irrelevant."

So her "advisor" role is not really correct, she's GWB's ENABLER. NATIONAL SECURITY ENABLER!! I NOMINATE THIS HER NEW DU TITLE.

Of course it all makes sense since she's UGH crushin' on GWB. Sheesh! These people are the most bizarre.

10. Interesting analysis of Rice/Bush
Very long, worth a read. (May want to put on tin foil hat for some of it)

SenderBerl's perception of Condoleezza Rice's true role in the Bush presidency
Important Photo Album Posted Below
March 27, 2004

Abstract: Sender, Berl & Sons Inc. explains that many mysteries are answered understanding that Condy Rice is not the true National Security Advisor. She was hand selected by Bush 41 in the late 90s to spend two years with his son to teach him foreign affairs. When he won the presidency, Bush 41 fully supported her having the NSA position, where she could be with his son constantly to monitor that he would not revert to drugs or alcohol under the pressures that would arise in connection with the events of 9-11. Most significantly, Bush 41 encouraged a close personal relationship between them because it was essential to his son pulling off his assigned role as President of the United States in the NWO quest to obtain control over Middle East oil.

We want to emphasize from the start that we may prove wrong on this assertion, but we firmly believe that the relationship between President Bush and Condoleezza Rice as one in pursuit of an agenda to undermine the United States of America to wit: to help allow the President to be complicit with regard to 9-11 without showing any consciousness of guilt with regard thereto. Therefore please permit us to explain this vital proposition because it is essential to understand to help prove the putative wrongdoing.

snip to the end:Leaders used to be on the front line when their nation went to war and stood at personal risk. Today's leaders are far from the battlefront, and show themselves when they fail to account to the nation they serve, not rule. We know why Bush, Cheney and Rice dread an appearance albeit they have been assured that nothing untoward will happen (Bush and Cheney don't even pretend to offer sworn testimony). Bush and Rice are masters of prepared text; when hit with a question from left field they may slip and touch upon the truths we have been highlighting to the public for seven years. We would love to see Rice asked whether she was aware (and when) of the numerous reports that Al-Quaeda were planning attacks with airplances on major buildings. If she says yes, she then lied when she said what she did after 9-11. If she did not, then how are we to believe that she is the true National Security Advisor? SenderBerl here would like to deploy the logic behind the Patriot Act to suggest that public officials who seek to hide from responding to Committee questions regarding 9-11 and whose associates have indicated plans in hand to put the country under military control should be subject to pre-emptive action and removed from office pending investigation of the disturbing and thus suspicious behavior as outlined by the New York Times story.

The sad aspect of what we write is that we know the truth about what took place on 9-11.
If you have reviewed this site, you should know the truth as well.

11. Does anyone else remember hearing Richard Clarke
talk about Shrub/Condi's relationship during his 911 testimony? He said it was important that the NSA and President have a close relationship, and that no NSA has ever beeen closer to a president than Condi is to Shrub. I LOL because my mind immediately went to " They're having an affair".

She probably just has a crush on him.

Ick.

That means there are still eight other "wives" of Bush to be determined...

16. LOL
"A quick survey would have to be made of all the available mine sites in the country. But I would guess... that ah, dwelling space for several hundred thousands of our people could easily be provided. Deciding who lives there could easily be accomplished with a computer. And a computer could be set and programmed to accept factors from youth, health, sexual fertility, intelligence, and a cross section of necessary skills. Of course it would be absolutely vital that our top government and military men be included to foster and impart the required principles of leadership and tradition. Naturally, they would breed prodigiously, eh? There would be much time, and little to do. But ah with the proper breeding techniques and a ratio of say, ten females to each male, I would guess that they could then work their way back to the present gross national product within say, twenty years."

You're forgetting another possibility though. Just as all nuns are brides of Christ, perhaps the Antichrist has his own Saudi-designed harem squirreled away. Unfortunately, according to the Bible, the Whore of Babylon is not destined for a happy marriage...
