OMG-They are Listening....they are, they are, they really are........
I am in a state that for some reason Bush has designated as a "target state" and, thus, we are getting all his ads. But, this evening one of our local stations ran a segment entitled "what would you ask Bush tonight at his press conference?". The replies were devestating.

These replies were a combination of e-mails and reporters sticking a mike into the face of common people on the street. Not a one was remotely "supporting Bush". They were asking questions that have been raised for years on places like this DemocraticUnderground. Their "questions" were not really questions but poltical commentary. They expressed everything we at DU and other sites have said for 3 years. The so-called questions they raised are of the type that Bush absolutely cannot answer tonight...or which will prove him an enept lying bastard in just a few months. They really have been listening--fuck any polls. Even the lowest have been processing the information. Bush is toast.

9. proud--thank you for reconizing that I wasn't exactly Pollyanna
I've been so very concerned and stil am. But I was totally blown away tonight. Even our dumbest slobs are asking questions that Bush doen't have a prayer in hell of answering. I needed that....and I can tell you that I will still be the goddamn negative broad all the way to November.....that's who I am and that's who I intend to be to keep this goddamn party on it's toes--whatever it takes.

5. LOL, same here
All Hannity spewed in mantra like fashion to any suggestion that Smirky is not Jesus Christ Re-born unto man.

(Although it is slacking up a bit amongst the country club republicans. I don't think they will vote in November)

7. The rich guys got theirs and now they won't vote for him?
Well, I think Bush should get even and take away all their tax cuts. Yes, I do.

4. That's good news.
Your assertion in your 2nd-to-last sentence could use an edit, though. Could be interpreted as fairly condescending.

6. If you don't mind me asking
which media market/region? Sounds very encouraging.

I heard a story the other day - about an Irish band playing at a pub in Indianapolis (rather conservative city)... bashing bush to cheers... then realizing and appologizing to the crowd (guess its not nice to come to a country and start bashing their president)... laugh that they had never met republicans again.. but then are egged on by the crowd to keep bashing. My source for the story said it was really surprising - this was not a political group (there are dems in these here parts) but a random crowd - which in these parts tends to be pretty republican. If it is happening here.. the sentiment has to be creeping out in many surprising places.

8. Excellent... maybe by bush playing ads this early...
and trying to be so hard-hitting, he is FORCING people to pay attention early, when there is time to ask questions. I guess they don't expect people to THINK. But Americans do think (most of the time).

So, maybe all this money being spent by Bush is a gift in disguise?

10. Great news Babs
Bush is an inept learning disabled spoiled brat slouch of a human being. Other than that, what's not to like?

That pretty much covers it. I would add, towel snapping frat boy, condescending major league a$$hole. Sadly, most of Texas is still probably in his corner. :-(
