Some sort of phone\e-mail tree type structure where we could get in contact with one another in a DU Down situation.

You know, everybody as five or ten phone #, or e-mail addys of other DUers (ones ya know and trust), and each one of them is linked to another group...

Something along those lines.

Also, couldn't we set up a list server (?) or some central alternate site to just let us know that Skinner hasn't been kidnapped by Wolfowitz???
