1. ooooh please
This is an outrageous case of treason, and should be exposed for the scandal that it is.

6. Did he explain where "Behind the Scenes" is?
Edited on Sun Apr-11-04 10:46 AM by BiggJawn
What, in the BS-RNC "green room"? Beltway cocktail parties? TinMan Cheney's "secret undisclosed location" bunker?

I don't care if there are Bushistas committing Sepuku "behind the scenes". Until it moves out to "center stage", it doesn't exist. Howard's such a putz. He doesn't do "coy" that well.

Just like the intro to the old National Lampoon Radio Hour: "We can say we're smoking REEFER, when we're really eating cookies..."

"Behind the Scenes"....IOW, the spinmasters are in full damage-control mode, right?

I have this mental image (cobbled from "Das Boot") of Rove in the Zentrale yelling "we simply MUST get the water out! while Scotty, Condom, Colon, Tommy Timbertoes, and Karen Hughes drown themselves in the stern stuffing plugs in the leaks.

7. he is going down
this is the one that will do it. The law is very clear, and if the path goes directly to where we know it does, it is not only impeachable, but criminal.

if Scooter had chosen him as one of the conduits of this crime, Fineman would have been thrilled at the honor.

23. What makes you think he didn't have the chance....

Fineman is a slimey Whore, but a smart whore ... I personally witnessed him badmouthing Kerry here in SC A year ago and will never forget it. Don't much like the sumbitch...

11. This Is A Long Hard Slog, Folks
Gotta keep saying the election is still 6 months away.

Yep, a scandal a week will be nice as it erodes this regime's "legitmacy" further with those who actually thought it had it in the first place and forces them to be on the defensive and waste their large cash trove. Kerry played last week very well...just let the this regime's problems speak for themselves...and others are sure to follow.

As long as we have Americans dying in Iraq, anything connected with why we're there and what's happening there will be front burner stuff.

I have a lot of confidence in Fitzgerald and he's come up with something. There have been some enticing leaks saying he's close here and there, so I'm still wait and see, but I saw him get a big fish here in Illinois (George Ryan...a fellow Repugnican) and think he'll put his job of enforcing the law ahead of the (R) on his lapel.

But then I thought James Thompson was a decent human being...

17. End of April, I think
If you're thinking of buying Wilson's book, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pre-order it at www.barnesandnoble.com. Pre-release buzz will probably boost the number of copies booksellers order, and that will be good for the book's numbers. Not that it's going to need much help. But that way you'll be sure to get a copy when it comes out.

22. Still TOO early
Yes the FISH is gaining more and more stink everyday but were not done riding the whole 911 / Bush knew debacle.

We have shaken the tree and the current polls are reflecting the results. Not to mention the current situation in Iraq.

If the momentum allows I think August would be the best month for the story to come out because they will still be defending allegations of the Plame outing rather then setting the ground work for an October surprise.

Besides the best is yet to come in the 911 investigation as Tenet and Muller are yet to be questioned not to mention the Chimp in Chief himself
