6. Posted by dragging it and it opened a new link...
First tried clicking to open a new link and that did not work.

My old computer could not do this; am using Mac OSX on new Mac; it can do amazing things compared to my old computer!

I know, I lived it. And to be a Vermont Repuke in 1971 is not the same thing as a Texas puke in '81 or even '91. But today?????????
Sheez, I remember Edward Brooke being our other Senator besides Kennedy.
Christ these asshole pukes like Gingrich, DeLay, Hatch, and Lott have really given their party a black eye- NO - it's SOUL!

25. You're right
The kind of republicans that I actually had some respect for are fast disappearing. Mark Hatfield of Oregon (where I lived for a long time) retired a few years ago and specifically said that he couldn't stomach the increasingly poisonous partisan atmosphere in Washington. He was a holdout on some bill that the republicans wanted passed...sorry I can't remember what it was about but I do remember it was fairly important and that I had a lot of respect for him for that.
I never actually voted Republican...I would've voted for Bush in 1988 (the first presidential election I was eligible for)but I was pretty politically disengaged at that time.

24. Yes, and in fact, his mother told the Time reporter...
http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101030811/nhoward.html

Last week I asked Dean's mother Andree Maitland Dean of East Hampton, N.Y., whether her son is truly a liberal insurgent. "He's not really," she said. A beat passed, and she added with a chuckle, "I hope they don't find that out just yet."

18. Did Howard star in the Yale production of "Hair"?
That look definitely didn't suit him.

Now Bill Clinton, on the other hand, looked rather attractive during his hippie phase.
