and convince me Bush* didn't know.

Mossad warned CIA of attacks - report
By Douglas Davis

LONDON (September 17) - Mossad officials traveled to Washington last month to warn the CIA and the FBI that a cell of up to 200 terrorists was planning a major operation, according to a report in the Sunday Telegraph here yesterday.

The paper said the Israeli officials specifically warned their counterparts in Washington that "large-scale terrorist attacks on highly visible targets on the American mainland were imminent." They offered no specific information about targets, but they did link the plot to Afghanistan-based terrorist Osama bin Laden, and they told the Americans there were "strong grounds" for suspecting Iraqi involvement.

Think about it -- we have heard Cheney say the Israeli have some of the best intelligence in the world. The Mossad personally traveled to the United States, because the intelligence was too sensitive to not be hand-carried, and delivered this information to government officials.

Is there really any question Bush knew?

1. why did i ever join this group
ever since I got here, I am more and more sick how deeply the country has been betrayed by the current administration.

I think I'd better take a few days off before I go out to register voters this weekend.

Instead of a nice grandmotherly lady asking them to register and support Kerry, I fear they will open their door to a wild eyed conspiracy nut with WAY too much intensity to listen to for more than it takes to say "no thanks, I'm busy now"

none the less, thanks for the (continued) education my friends

5. I am really sorry to have brought you down
I just got so upset listening to Warner tonight on Larry King discussing that we had no tangible intelligence regarding imminent attacks, I started digging through articles I had read in overseas papers shortly after the attacks. I remember I got very agitated reading these reports in various overseas papers that we had been warned. I saved some of these because I knew we certainly were not hearing this news here at home, and I figured the links would disappear.

I was in Washington on September 11 and didn't know how I was going to get out of the City. The metro had shut down and no one was being allowed into the City. I work not too far from the Pentagon and the White House. While I could get out of my building, I had no way to get home. While I watched the Pentagon burning, I had the distinct feeling that Bush* knew this was going to happen. I knew he had taken that month-long vacation and pretty much assumed he was covering his own flank. Bush* left this City without as much as a "head-ups" to the rest of us and went to read a child's book in a state where his brother and the Secret Service could protect him.

It is very sad to realize we could be so betrayed by a man we didn't even elect, but it would be so much worse to be naive about the man and his coterie of people and to fail to realize the severity of the situation we are in. Try to hold onto that thought.

3. Did they just throw in the "Iraqi" name to rev us up for invasion?
What was the 'strong grounds.' It was also Israel that was responsible for the fake info on the Niger incident and the WMD in Iraq. A lot of times, Israel feeds the US hyped info when they want us to do something on their behalf.

6. I pretty much assumed the Mossad threw in the Iraqi factor
for its own good measure. Iraq has always been considered a threat to Israel, and if the U.S. could take out Saddam in exchange for the information the Mossad hand-delivered....

7. Now, remember what PNAC said...
about needing "another Pearl Harbour" and PNAC's close ties to Israel, and then remember that one of the first things Bush and Rumsfeld did was to try and pin Sept 11 on Iraq.

They KNEW it was going to happen, in fact they WANTED it to happen, and I believe they MADE it happen, with the assistance of a few friends (Mossad, Bin Laden etc...)
