So Rice says that the reason we didn't do anything about that PDB is that it didn't have any concrete information about the potential threat, and that all it proved was that Bin Laden *intended* to attack the U.S., and you can't start a big military offensive based on that.

Well, you know what, not invading a country just because you *think* someone *might* be *planning* on hurting you someday, that makes a whole lot of sense to me...cause that's exactly why I OPPOSED THE WAR IN IRAQ.

And yet somehow, when it came to Saddam Hussein, the intention was enough.

I guess all threats are imminent, but some are more imminent than others.
