I just want to scream...
I'm so frustrated with pro-Bushers I can't stand it anymore. I'm trying so hard to be respectful of other people's ideas but when then they're so wrong and in denial, I want to slap them. I admire Al Franken's attitude because he does have good friends who are pro-Bush who have been on his show yet he remains calm and respectful. Maybe pro-Bush people are in denial just like the parents who don't take responsibility for their kids bad actions and decisions are in denial. We all know parents like that - their kids can do no wrong. For some people I think they find it too painful to admit we, as a country, screwed up. It hurts to be wrong, I guess especially if you're a Republican. But better in the long run to own up to errors and do something about it instead of pretending everything is A-ok and keep on the same track.

2. Its a question of what your goals are
Its the same thing no matter the issue. You have to look at what you want to accomplish and act in a way that can accomplish it. Screaming and hitting them will not accomplish anything except relieving your stress a bit.

You have to sit down and determine what will have an effect. You have to do the things that will change the issues. You have to make your actions count. Sometimes doing what is effective may not be as quick of satisfying as we would like. But it is the path that must be followed.

3. You're right...
that is important. I'm very careful how I talk to others for the reasons you mentioned. On the inside, I'm screaming. My posting was to let off some harmless steam.

5. Go ahead and vent LZ
Out of curiosity, does your screen name stand for Led Zeppelin? My roomie went out with a guy by that nickname a few years ago. Think his real name was Dwayne, or something.
