You get a daily briefing telling you something VERY big is coming, most likely overseas. That Bin Laden is about to strike the US.

Do you:

A) Go on vacation for a month

or

B) Perhaps delay the vacation and deal with the urgent threat. Call the heads of the CIA, FBI and NSA together and battleplan for this attack.


Tough choice, huh?

Seriously, I think it's probably one of the most serious signs of poor judgement that the President continued on vacation for an ENTIRE month instead of at least cutting it sort or going back to DC to "shake the tree" at least ONCE.

A FAILURE of leadership.

If Bush addressed the nation and said we have a serious problem and we need to invade Afghanistan and round up middle eastern people, would you have supported it?
