Many dead in Iraq today; have we become callous? Has Bush won?
Not many posts here about the dead - Iraqi and American - and no media reports ever about the number of wounded Americans; a far greater number than the dead. Do you think Bush has numbed even us to the cost of this "war?" What are we doing there? Are we only looking at it in terms of shifting political advantage, and isn't that the game the Bush Administration wants us to play? I have always believed this is the wrong war, in the wrong place, for the wrong reasons. Now, America focuses on how hard we can kick Iraqi butt (for what reason? To what end? Doesn't matter anymore. Just kick it). What about here on DU, have we become desensitized to death and an immoral war? Have we lost our focus? Have we given up because Clarke's exposure of the immorality of the Bush Administration has not resonated? So, what's the deal, my fellow DUers?

2. Many discussions about the dead are sometimes embedded in other posts.
I have seen plenty.

3. There have been many posts about the dead and events in Iraq today,
but we have so many members they go off to archives. How much can you post or comment. We are all upset about it. Check out LBN/GD/Editorials. Go back through the pages. It's all there and not forgotten.
