...but Shawn was going into attack mode, and Dean just brushed him off and turned his back to him to talk to Colmes for a bit. Pretty cool exchange. Toward the end, Dean pointedly asked Hannity whether it was permissible to attempt to enlighten the Presidency. Of course, Shawn goes, "no but, your book is political and you KNOW that it will hurt him." Shawn looked like a whiney little punk.

...whining thug Hannity looked like a lost child in a shopping mall when, in one of the greatest examples of body language in the history of Western civilization, Dean simply turned around in the chair, his back toward Hannity, and focused 100% of his attention on Colmes.

"We'll finish this tomorrow on the radio"...yes, ladies and gentlemen, John Dean made Hannity his "B" (since there seems to be a current controversy over using the "B" word here)...but he DID! Sean Hannity, for all intents and purposes, is now Mrs. John Dean.

He later spoke with Billy Graham's daughter Anne Graham Lotz about her book on unanswered prayers, "Why." He quoted a line from Garth Brooks about "some of the best prayers being the unanswered ones." Let's hope that Sean gets his wish and his favorite prayer is "four more years." If there was ever a prayer that deserved to be unanswered, it's that one.

Sean then went to the ACLU (!) and eventually got reinstated--or an offer of reinstatement--but he had so poisoned the atmosphere he decided to cut and run, which is something he thinks we should not do in Iraq.

And he grew up on Long Island, somewhere near Huntington, I think.

by a caller on his own "way of talking" - the caller said he didn't think Franken sounded as educated as Hannity. Franken said he thought Hannity got his start as a construction worker. He was very controlled and almost respectful in his tone - didn't flame the caller.

Hopefully Franken will have info on Hannity's education tomorrow.

things. People here on this Board are very analytical and well-informed. I guess what I am trying to say is that when you listen to Kerry -- you can hear his education and experience coming out. Sean Hannity just sounds like some lawyer told him what to say and he didn't get it. In law school, they make you read, literally, thousands of court decisions, in which the great justices of our time explain what the Constitution means to them. I will never forget learning about 'vigorous and robust debate," the cornerstone of our society.
