Anyone know of a "good" credit card company
I read last week that MBNA was Bush's top 2000 contributor. They underwrite my current credit card, and it seems, most bank cards out there. I want to get rid of this card and find a card a card that will not send money to the Republican party. I am looking at the card from Working Assets (they donate 10% of proceeds to progressive causes), but I was wondering if anyone knows of any other alternatives. Thank you

5. USAA, if you qualify
Not sure about their qualification rules for bank accounts (its different for their different departments). I have an account because I'm a military dependant, my interest is low, and I've never had any problems with them.

9. Second that one
I have USAA for my credit card and all my insurance, and it's a great company if you qualify.

11. If you pay your balance in full each month the best you can do
is to get the Working Assets card that is underwritten by MBNA. Credit card companies make their money off of customers that carry a balance(finance charges) and with late fees. You will be a net drain on MBNA if you use their money to run your life and pay them back with NO interest! The more you put on it and can pay back at the end of the month the better!

An extra plus is the donated amount to progressive companies through Working Assets.
