Bring AirAmerica Radio to More Local Stations - Here's an Idea
I propose a massive letter writing campaign to local radio stations in areas where AirAmerica is not available. To get things started, here is a sample letter:

"Dear Station Manager:

I am now listening to the most exciting talk radio station I've ever experienced. Unfortunately, I am listening to it on the INTERNET because it is not available over the air in our city.

AirAmerica Radio presents an entertaining counterpoint to the the stable of conservative personalties now on the air.

I will continue to listen to AirAmerica Radio. I hope that I will be able to hear their programming on your station.

Thank you"

1. Funny, I was just thinking that!

But I was thinking ask the local stations to replace, like Hannity, Rush, or O'Reilly with one of the AA shows!

Anyway, I'm on it! And thanks for the sample text!

2. Good idea, but replacing them won't happen, not for
a VERY LONG TIME!

As much as I detest those guys, they make a lot of $$ for those stations! How about starting out with inserts of Air America when those guys do re-runs? just to get a foot in the door on thee giant stations.

3. I think as AA gets more coverage, listeners...
Radio stations will be banging down their door. And I am sure AA marketing is trying to get out there. For now though, It couldn't hurt helping speed up the process.

And as far as conservatives making them lots of cash. I wouldn't consider Hannity's 15 rating very good, and it is my understanding that O'Really's show doesn't do that well, either!

JMO!
