MOSCOW. April 1 (Interfax) - Fifty-five percent of Russians feel that the overall role played by the United States in world affairs is negative, according to a recent poll of 1,500 Russians conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation in 100 cities, towns and villages at the end of March.

Only 12% of the respondents regarded the U.S. role in world affairs as positive.

Every fifth respondent (21%) was critical of the United States because they feel it imposes its will on others.
