What did everyone think of the O'Franken Factor?
Personally I liked the show and his cohost is good too. However, he needs to be a little quicker...but then again he's only started doing this. I just hope Air America doesn't end up like Donahue or Dershowitz.

4. O'Franken Factor
Absolutely fantastic - especially loved the "Ann Coulter locked in the green room" segment! Listened to it via www.airamericaradio.com

5. Disappointing
Loved his books, but his delivery was slow and quiet, and even Michael Moore sounded like he was reading a promo on public radio. I did enjoy the Ann Coulter humor (of course, she's a walking joke in the first place). But Al and Katherine need to pick up the pace a little, or they might not be around more. Hopefully, they'll get better with practice.

9. Exactly
I thought he was slow, but he was also really funny. He does need to pick it up, but he will learn.

13. I usually listen to sports radio, so the pace bothered me too.
But this is at more of an NPR pace. It needs to pick up in all aspects. Franken needs to be quicker, they need to give and take better. The News flashes have to be faster. It needs to be alot higher energy to catch on.

bat.

6. I liked it. It was great (Franken did wonderfully for his first day).

His speaking style should get smoother - and it will.

7. if you have listened to any of his past NPR pieces
those tend to need time to warm up.. his timing is more quirky than many comedians. It will be interesting to see how all this translates to radio. But in general, more power to 'em.

14. HFish.........

You dont need a password, just use one of the streams on the internet.

The one I used worked perfect, and I am on a dial up ISP.

16. I've been waiting for more than a decade and a half for this day
Finally, liberal talk radio.

It will be on my radio at home when I mget there this evening. I will purchase a small radio to listen to it on my train ride home as well.

No more Conservative News Network. No more MSRNC. No more Faux News. Air America is where I will get it all now.

17. I only caught about 45 min when I went home for lunch
but I did catch the part were Al Gore called in. It was fun to hear Michael Moore apologize (sort of) to Gore for supporting Nader in the 2000 election and even more fun to hear him say that he will not be making the same mistake in 2004. Glad to hear that Gore will be a guest in the near future. They certainly have an A+ guest list.

19. I enjoyed it...
flitted between Thom Hartmann and O'Franken. I like listening to different styles -- hosts don't have to do it the same way -- and I'd be bored if they did.

24. I'm so proud of my little burg
Portland Oregon Baby!!!

One of the only 5 places in the country to carry all of the shows all day.

Only problem is the station (which was an oldies station) is owned by clearchannel. Hmmmmm. . . think they may have a public relations problem in this corner of the country?

25. I think that the overwhelming appetite for what AirAmerica......
is serving will eventually make Clear Channel VERY happy that they signed on for the ride...they will be saying to themselves "why didn't we think of this sooner? There's MONEY to be made here".
