some excerpts from tonight:

1. afghan drug trade is back with a vengeance
2. administration raised the fear factor to gain support for the invasion of Iraq
3. elections delayed in Iraq from June to September and even that's at risk
4. the U.S. forces that could have been used to cut off funds for al Qaeda, which came largely from Saudi Arabia, are currently tied up in Iraq
5. the biggest supporter of the invasion of Iraq was Osama bin Laden
6. we need the help of the entire world but U.S. credibility has been badly damaged by this administration
7. all our armed forces in Iraq will be adrift after June 30 because there will be no operative government in place
8. the dominant leader of the Shi'ites is already circulating pamphlets condemning the U.S. imposed constitution
9. we have people there who are sitting ducks
10. the people who are serving deserve a government that is accountable to them and this government went to war under false pretenses


i think the democrats will resume "Iraq Watch" again later tonight ... in the past, they usually go from around 11pm est until midnight ...
