I Swear, They Must Be Brain Dead
Given the events of the last week alone I have to think that anyone who could continue to support Bu$h has to be brain dead. There is not a single thing that the man is doing right. There is not a single thing that he has done right during his time in office ... not one single dam thing. All of this is evident, and yet he holds onto his base of supporters. I can not, for the life of me understand how.

What particularly bothers me is that good honest hard working people support him. They have to see what is happening to the economy and the threat to virtually ever job in america. They have to be able to see that they are bing lied to every single day by this administration. It bothers me that so many people who hold strong Christian religious beliefs hold him in high esteem. The man is as dishonest and immoral as the antichrist. What else can you say about a man who has, without reason, caused the deaths of so many and agony for so very many more?

On monday I am going to go to a local sign shop and have the following vinyl lettering made up to put on the back window of my truck:

The Antichrist
Is Among Us
His Name is Bush

I've got lots of insurance, vandalism is covered under no-deductable comprehensive. What do I care? Someone has to wake them up from their sleep of brain death.

8. W fanatics
These people are mostly ignorant or stupid or both.
When the lose their job maybe they will get a clue.
Most of these people are Right Wing Fundamentalists and the rest have issues such as Abortion, Gun Control, Gay Rights. They will vote against their own economic interests to advance various social causes.

Anyone that believes that the bible is literaly the word of god and that everything is true in the bible has to be mentally challenged or delusional. Facts do not penetrate the brains of such people. They feel that the Neocons are on their side.

4. I was just thinking the exact same thing (except for the sign)
bush's ratings should be near zero, yet the race is very close. What is it that people see in bush. The man is pure evil. It makes me somewhat pessimistic that so many bad things can be revealed about bush in the mainstream press and he still hasn't been impeached.

On the bright side, I always know how I should stand on any given issue. All I have to do is see how bush stands and then I take the opposite! It hasn't failed me yet.

My mother has read several of those books from the "Left Behind" series and has decided that * is the anti-christ. I don't think that is what the author had in mind but hey, it works for me. :p

and it is obvious that the man who calls himself a president, who was not elected in the first place, and who forced himself, via a corrupt SCOTUS, is a complete, disengaged idiot, uninformed, and totally incomptetent man, who was propelled in to the presidency, by a coup and was cruising along on the family "Bush" name. He is as corrupt as the rest of the Bush family.

He is, totally a stupid, crass, uninformed and really a dumbass man. He should be ousted with vigor and with purpose in this next election.

This man is a joke. Imagine a president, actually making fun of the reasons for Invasion and killing and murder in Iraq? What the hell is that?

This guy needs to go back to the dry gulch of Texas and live out the rest of his life with the dry gulched pickles.

May they both go down in infamy

12. That makes me laugh cause
my boss is mostly "brain dead" but I talked so long and hard against Bush* he thought it over and went and registered Dem. That was before Bush* was selected. His wife, who lives in another part of the country, is here "visiting" and she asked me if I am going to vote for Sen. Kerrey. I said ABB. She shook her head and said in a whisper "don't get caught up in that". Out of respect, I didn't rebut. Now, these people are in the late 70's and I love them both. Both are military veterans. Their lifestyle can be attributed to the fact that he is an entertainer, but for the life of me I can't figure out where this woman is coming from. Brain dead is a start I guess.

13. In think it's their way...
of not losing faith in their man regardless of what charges are brought against him, like the way we didn't lose faith in Clinton when they continued to assault him every day from his inauguration 'til the day he left. The difference is, the charges against shrub are real!! But they don't want to believe that it could be true since they've been brainwashed to believe that free thinking liberal Americans want nothing more than to destroy the country. That's my theory, but I could be wrong. You gotta remember, a lot of these turkeys listen to Rush Limpcock and accept what he says as gospel. I mean, can you imagine being that dim witted?

16. I like how working people think they got a tax cut
when actually their state and local property taxes have increased. Their energy and education bills have increased. Their financial aid has decreased. Many people have lost their jobs or taken pay cuts. The price of gas has increased. Health care costs have increased. Military benefits have decreased. and so on.

yeah some tax cut.

17. This election would be a Democratic landslide
if only people would think. Then Democrats and moderate Republicans would be swept into office because they are better than the shitheads we have now. But about half of Americans don't think or don't care.

They are just too lazy and stubborn to consider how much their expenses and taxes have INCREASED despite getting a lousy $300 refund check in the mail.

And the ones who got million dollar checks want to keep it that way and they are very good at it.

18. Thom, you need to come sit........
on my deck Friday. He(bush)is coming to Huntington and will have to drive right past my home. I plan to NOT welcome him with a sign. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Some others have other suggestions for not welcoming him.

You might like to read an article I read today in "The American Prospect". The title is "Reaching to the Choir" by McGarvey. You can find it online @www.prospect.org. In fact, there were a few good articles this issue.

I agree with you, it is maddening how stupid people are. But I feel sure he will lose WV this year. Count on it!

19. I Think Kerry Can Win On This Side Too
I'm sure Bu$h'll loose West Virginia as well. Here on my side of the state (east of Morgantown in Preston County) the only issue locally of any interest was the notion that 'Gore was gonna take yer guns'. That's off the table now:

21. Just saw my first Bush ad here in Maryland
Edited on Sun Mar-28-04 02:01 AM by Woodstock
We are a so-called "safe" Democratic state, so I guess that's why I never see these things when I watch TV. I stay away from ABC/NBC/CBS/Fox/WB/UPN for the most part, too, maybe they play them there more.

He was saying Kerry didn't vote to fund body armor. To me, knowing that AWOL Bush was in a rush for political reasons to send the soldiers into what all the experts (and his own father and many of his aides, intelligence, and military experts, as we have seen) predicted would be an unwinnable guerilla war for a lame excuse (WMD's) well knowing the soldiers didn't have sufficient body armor (but he couldn't wait, not a minute longer!), then to have the unmitigated gall to rag on Decorated Veteran Kerry for wanting to restructure an $87 billion bill AFTER we were already in the Iraq mess, that a Republican Congress marching in lockstep with Bush's appalling acts to that point rammed down the American taxpayer's throat, got my blood boiling. And the Republicans also voted down a Democratic-proposed bill to pull back Bush's tax cuts to the wealthiest 1% to fund body armor. So, since I actually read the news, I know the fact that our soldiers have lost life and limb is blood on Bush's hands. If I was a racist homophobic misogynic self-righteous moron and/or complete and total fool, I wouldn't know all that, so I guess the commercial would make me think Bush is honest and true.

As you can see, I share your frustration...

Oh, God, they just played another one, about 20 minutes later. I'm praying that there is a mixup and the station made a mistake... surely Rove would not deliberately waste his money showing these in Maryland at nearly 2 AM... Then again, he's got money to burn. I can't bear the sound of his voice, so I guess I'm going to have to stop watching TV...
