What's the deal with Gary Aldrich?

The righties are complaining because Richard Clarke is getting so much attention while a few years ago Gary Aldrich, a guy with 30 years experience who wrote a tell-all book about the Clinton WH failures, could not get any media attention. They are claiming this as proof of media bias.

What's the story? Does anyone remember?

...Clarke, on the other hand, is highly credible because he's a rightwing Republican that was first appointed to his position by Reagan. Additionally, the contents of his book can be independently verified and his public statements are based on fact.
