Repukes on the House floor pulling a bash Clarke all-nighter on C-SPAN
Edited on Wed Mar-24-04 10:56 PM by TheWebHead
Hoekstra is spewing fire -- talking about how he wishes he could leak classified documents negative towards Clarke to the press. Also John Shadegg and a few others in a completely empty house... A back and forth infomercial going on now.

2. Good.
The more they look like they're trying to hide something, the more likely they are to sink with Bush*.

My husband said, "They just can't give it up, can they?" It's so pitiful!

5. Think Clarke hit a nerve? Man, they are focused.
Never seen them so focused. Hope Clarke doesn't meet with an "unfortunate accident;" he has hit them where it hurts. Where the truth lies. Wow!

I tune in and get this bilefest. Is Congress part of the W's reelection committee? How is this tied with the House's duties? Is Clarke the object of a bill? A resolution?
I just wanted to tape those words:

"Your government failed you. Those entrusted with protecting you failed you, and I failed you."

7. Since when do the repugs care about the real issue's facing
this country? You guys know this already, unemployment (bush can't be bothered) environment (mercury) Taxes (they'll get us later) Oil (look at the pump prices lately) Deficits (as far as the eye can see) Judges (scary) privacy (patriot act=code word snoop) i can go on but why bother, i wish people would see how these thugs waste our tax paying dollars!

9. They aren't worrying about Bush as much as worrying about themselves
'Cause there's a good chance some of the Repubs you see tonight may not be back after November... :)

12. Exactly kentuck.........they made a 3 year career rubber stamping
and covering for this fraud. If he goets damaged or done in by these revelations, I think there will be a negative coat tail effect for Republicans who have allowed this administration to declare war on Americans.

11. Up past their bedtime, eh?

That's a powerful statement about their level of fright but their Spew and Spin efforts are an exercise in futility.....the door's been kicked wide open and there's no puttin' good ole Truth back in the barn!
