The problem with conspiracies....
There are many of us who believe that there is a "conspiracy" of powerful interests behind what is laughingly called The Bush Administration. Control of the world's remaining oil supplies, promotion of the extreme Likud agenda in Israel, and even the control of China have been offered as the uniting interests that fuels this conspiracy. And all means, fair or foul, have been used to advance this "conspiracy".

Now, people who suggest that the prevailing, mainstream world view is wrong are often chided as "conspiracy theorists". The bite of this ad hominem rests on one main pillar: True conspiracies are hard to maintain. People talk, they have bouts of conscience. Secrets as awful as we suggest can not be kept indefinitely.

Well, it looks to me like people are beginning to talk. Ray McGovern, Joseph Wilson, Paul O'Neill and now Richard Clarke are talking. Some suggest that Condi Rice is afraid of lying under oath. Will she crack? Will more come forward so that their legacy can be cleansed? Time will tell. However, it looks to me like one of the pillars used to discredit conspiracy theorists is crumbling.

2. There was certainly a "conspiracy" for false Iraq WoMD evidence
David Kay had said it. Hans Blix hs said it.

Any time 2 or more people discuss doing something wrong, it's a conspiracy to commit a crime. It's time to rescue that word from the insult file. Just because you believe some groups of people are willing to break the law doesn't mean you should automatically be considered insane for wanting to investigate what they have done.

4. The PNAC operates right out in the open, a secret yet NOT secret
shadow government operation.

A conspiracy? Sure. Look at their intent, their plans, their nefarious deeds to date.

The problem with conspiracies and the bush/PNAC regime is that they're all TRUE. They ARE conspiring to do all these things that we accuse them of.

5. Gimme a FUCKING BREAK.
"Conspiracy theories..." These *folks are so arrogant they published their intentions YEARS AGO. Schwartz auf weiss. Read Zbig's "Grand Chess Game." Google PNAC and get up to speed, kids.

Pop quiz: Who said "The more we do to you, the less you believe we are doing it."

Manchmal bin ich UNGEDULDIG! Particularly when ALL our lives hang in the balance.

6. If there weren't conspiracies, there wouldn't be a RICO statute.
Sometimes it's called "cooperation."
