Good books in digital format
I have the following books in digital media from: /
Disarming Iraq by Hans Blix
House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties by Craig Unger
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
Terrorism and War by Howard Zinn
The Last Energy War: The Battle Over Utility Deregulation by Harvey Wasserman
Inside 9-11: What Really Happened by The Reporters, Writers, and Editors of Der Spiegel Magazine
Howard Zinn on War by Howard Zinn
Corporate Media and the Threat to Democracy by Robert W. McChesney
Acts of Aggression: Policing Rogue States by Noam Chomsky
9-11 by Noam Chomsky
Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance (The American Empire Project) by Noam Chomsky
American Dynasty: Aristocracy, Fortune, and the Politics of Deceit in the House of Bush by Kevin Phillips
Bartlett's Familiar Quotations, 17th Edition by John Bartlett
Our Vietnam: The War 1954-1975 by A. J. Langguth
The Iraq War Reader: History, Documents, Opinions by Micah L. Sifry
Imperial America: The Bush Assault on the World Order by John Newhouse

Dude, Where's My Country? by Michael Moore
Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged by Merriam-Webster
Bushwhacked: Life in George W. Bush's America by Molly Ivins
Idoru by William Gibson
The Betrayal of America: How the Supreme Court Undermined the Constitution and Chose Our President by Vincent Bugliosi
Power and Terror: Post-9/11 Talks and Interviews by Noam Chomsky Profit Over People: Neoliberalism and Global Order by Noam Chomsky Crashing the Party: Taking on the Corporate Government in an Age of Surrender by Ralph Nader
Silencing Political Dissent: How Post-September 11 Anti-Terrorism Measures Threaten Our Civil Liberties by Nancy Chang
Vest Pocket Dictionary: Second Edition by Hungry Minds
Webster's New World College Dictionary: Fourth Edition by Hungry Minds

They're not CHEAP, but they're a good deal cheaper than the printed versions. Most importantly, they can all be in my shirt pocket! Separately listed are the Reader program for each platform; Palm OS, Windows PC, Win, and Macintosh ($20 each). I have all but the Macintosh, so I can "read" on either of my PDAs or at my desk. Once purchased, each book can be read on ALL platforms; separate copies aren't necessary.

I'd far rather read off a printed page, but this method has a few advantages, in addition to portability, such as "Search". (For perhaps obvious reasons, Copy/Paste is disabled with most books). The battery life for either of my PDAs (Sony T665 & NEC P300) isn't very good, but I have external battery pack solutions for each.
SHEESH!! I didn't realize it until I listed them all, but they DO add up!! SHEESH again!
