"The world is a safer place" Answer this question
President Crooked says the world is a safer place since the war on terror. The French Foreign Minister says it a more dangerous place.I say there has been far more terrorists attacks worldwide since the start of the war on terror.

1. The world is a safer place
2. The world is a more dangerous place

2. Both
The world is more dangerous - Iraq did nothing but piss off a lot more disenfranchised young Muslims who are now more radical in their outlook. Oh, and it killed 8000+ civilians, 500+ soldiers and spent the National Debt of Algeria (assumption).

The world is a safer place - the fall out has made it blatently obvious that Mr Bush and Mr Blair are lying scum who don't deserve to be re-elected. Hopefully, the US citizens will get their act together enough to put someone with some sense into their heads. Unfortunatly, the UK have no-one of the right stature to replace Blair. Charles Kennedy - pfft. Michael Howard - Don't make me laugh. Gordon Brown - he can't see the housing price bubble for all words that are coming out of his arse.

3. I don't see how pissing off 1.6 billion muslims would be a good thing.

4. Definitely not safer
We may have disrupted terrorist networks but we have fueled so much hatred towards the US that we have made it much worse on ourselves in the future. Muslim countries will produce many more terrorists because they view the US a threat to their culture.

I feel that in 2000 the world was at an important crossroads where we had the unique opportunity to vastly improve conditions in the US and around the world because of steps taken by Clinton. Now, 4 years later I feel like Bush has taken us back 20 years. Another Bush presidency could take us back another 20 years. Think about that Nader supporters.

5. safety
OUr world safety is best compared to a hornet's nest. Bush and his people were told that there was a hornet's nest by Clinton's people but they didn't want to believe that Clinton wold tell the truth. They had spent thier lives telling lies and couldn't imagine anyone being truthful. So they wandered around ignoring the buzzing until they got stung. Then they decided that the best way to get rid of the hornets is to cut down the nest and run with it under thier arm until the hornets go away. Getting stung the entire time. As a people we are going to pay for the BFEE arrogance and stupidity for a long time. We are less safe now than we have ever been.

6. How can the world be a safer place from terrorists
when bu$h&co keep stonewalling the 9/11 investigation? Terrorists are being blamed for 9/11. Kind of makes one think the people in the White House are working with a group of terrorists or maybe are the terrorists themselves?

7. Are you going to believe your lying eyes or Bush?

You are absolutely right. The evidence is clear. The world is far less safe.

8. Are you insane?
Congress told us that the world is a safer place. They voted on it. They wrote up a resolution and everything. It passed overwhelmingly. They voted. As long as they voted, it must be so. Isn't voting the core of democracy? I rest my case.

Our leaders are on tv, in a split screen, talking about the world being safer as we watch the aftermath of more bombings. Don't believe what you see. It's safer. Bombings mean progress.

I don't know what world you're living in.
