Alterman had insulted the Dear Leader by pointing out the evidence that the Dear Leader was an habitual liar. Dear Leader's #1 brown noser Miller could not comprehend how anyone could so blatantly insult the Dear Leader and yet he couldn't refute the evidence provided by Alterman. Overcome by a severe case of cognitive dissonance, the only option left to Miller was to make like a goofball, ham it up, avoid getting into any meaningful discusssion with Alterman and terminate the interview ASAP.
