Spain and war on terror
It seems to me that ever since that deadly day in Spain last week all media outlets (at least cable tv) assume without any facts to back iy up that the war in Iraq is related to the war on terror. All the evidence suggest that Iraq had nothing to do with 911, al Qaeda, and never intended to give their so-called WMD to terrorist (this according to the famous NIE). So why is the media saying as it is fact that the war in Iraq is the war on terror. Over and over I hear someone saying that by Spain taking their troops out of Iraq its a victory for the terrorist. Why is that?

3. the mainstream press has to call them on it
they know darn well that BushCo has made the world widely more dangerous on so many levels. Seems there are many of us here who can somehow manage to put together the truth with just a web browser and an internet connection, but that seems to be beyond the folks at CNN, FAUX and MSGOP...

4. But even dems....
Edited on Tue Mar-16-04 09:15 PM by dennis4868
believe or at least say that the war in Iraq is the war on terror. What is the rationale for that? Perhaps some believe sincerely believe that. What is there evidence and rationals that war in Iraq is the war on terror? I just cannot connect those dots.

5. the "war on terror" is a sham....
It's a marketing strategy. Sure, people get killed-- they're all "suspected terrorists," but it's just another name for militarism, imperialism, and global hegemony. Please, please, PLEASE beam me up, Scotty. There is no intelligent life on this planet.
