If it is acceptable to call Bush, Cheney, et al "pricks"
(and believe me, I agree with that sentiment); then why is it that calling Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, and other wingnut women c*nts will get a post deleted in a heartbeat?

1. It's the word/language...
It's not the body part being referred to. You could call them vaginas if you wanted. It's the language.. That's one of the harshest swears we've got.

Though personally I don't think foul language should be a deletable offense.

3. a strange double standard
dick, prick, schmuck, cock etc are acceptable. Naughty words for womens bits and about women are not.

BUT on TV and movies you can show naked ladies but not penis's (peni? penisisisiss?)

The words are about redressing an imbalance in the way women and men are treated. The images show it still needs work.

4. You can't even have those combination of letters together in a
word in a post!

I had one deleted and a warning for using "bush* country" but left out the "o", although it was a typo I did go back and add a smartass remark about the typo actually fitting well as a description.

Be careful with that one. BTW, I'm for allowing ALL words, if it comes to a vote.

7. It's because women let it get to them.

Guys don't give a shit if someone uses the words "cock" "prick" etc.

Women have a hissyfit if someone says c*nt.

The same way white people don't care about "honky."

9. and the reason for that is...
because white men still have positions of power, and calling them names is not an implicit threat (white man speaking, fyi)

12. Apples and Oranges, my friend
We're talking about calling Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham cunts, not women in general. So those two are not in positions of power? They have more power over public opinion than most men in America. Your argument is empty in the context of the original post.
