I watched Fox News today. I weep for my country.
What the hell has happened to the united States of America.
I vowed that I would never look at the squatter or at news
that featured the miserable failure and as a result I have
been out of the Fox News loop. Today, however, I spent some time
at a new clinic where Fox News was blaring for the 3 hours that
I was there finishing some notes. I am still in shock. The
announcers are dumber than dirt, they speak in 20 second sound bites
at what seems to be a grade school level. Terra Terra Terra, Gay marriage, why not just be honest and start each segment with the RNC logo? "We need to be prepared for trouble in Afghanistan and Iraq
which is designed to sway the political process". Laci Peterson.
Missing family in Mississippi. Unbelievable. Then the coverage of
Dean's dropping out and the swipes at Kerry and Edwards, the two
who "might have a remote chance" of beating the boy king.

The swoosh sounds and the colors do get your attention! Short attention span theater.
I do not plan on watching at home because I might be tempted
to throw something at the television. I hope the winner of the primary
can talk over the heads of these folks. Mini rant.

2. Been weeping for our country since the Bloodless Coup of 2000
But really, this Totalitarian Cancer has been metastasizing inside us for at least 25 years.

It has only burst and is now festering and supperating recently.

Yes, Faux "News" would have been a WONDERFUL tool for Josef Goebbels, had he and Hitler decided to put more effort into convincing the Germans they were Free (they didn't have to bother due to German cultural imperatives...not like Imperial Amerika) rather than just applying boot to neck, as it were.

6. Wit all respect, Thomas, the coup was on November 22, 1963.
The media have done all they can to convince us that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. Nothing could be further from the truth, as evinced by Vietnam, Watergate, October Surprise, Iran-Contra, Iraq-gate/BNL, the Savings & Loans scam, BCCI, Gulf War 1, etc. etc. up to Selection 2000, ENRON Energy Piracy, Gulf War 2 etc. Bushcetera.

It really illustrates why Dean is so needed.

4. Faux shouldn't be allowed to call themselves a news channel
because they simply don't report the news. All they do is spew RW talking points and endless irrelevant distraction from real issues.

5. I felt the same way
watching CNN during the superbowl 2 C the MoveOn ad (otherwise I don't watch) I had no idea the propaganda was so damn blatant and constantconstantconstantnoroomtobreatheorthink. Good god! what a wreck! I'm glad I found other sources.
