"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take this any more!"
http://www.firstmatter.com/newsletter/2004/02_anger/200402_ww.asp

Just read the above link titled "Are You Mad as Hell, Too?" by Watts Wacker. Watts Wacker is, among other things, a futurist, political commentator, social critic and business scenario guru. I had the pleasure of hearing one of his keynote addresses back in the 90's and was intrigued by his intellect and foresight. In one of his books written several years ago, "The 500 Year Delta : What Happens After What Comes Next", I believe, he talked about the next war being fought not by conventional methods but by 'terrorists' - which was a novel term at the time.

Anyway, in this article he talks about the anger out there. I think this bodes well for us as an incumbent like Bush is destined to take the wrath of some of that anger.

"...that anger is in the air. Not but two months ago Time magazine ran a cover story with George Bush. On one side of his face he had a black eye (and the other he had a kiss on his cheek.)..."

"...John Zogby, the famous pollster, has declared ... "the angry voter is back." There hasn't been this much social, political and moral public anger since the 1960's..."

"...Howard Dean is a great metaphor for anger in paradox. His anger was both the reason for his attraction and the reason for his loss of that attraction.

Expect to see more of the "mad as hell" feeling in public. Expect it to be a long hot summer. Expect corrosive rhetoric and obnoxious people in airports."

1. Anger motivates the masses.
Lets just apply it to action rather than pain.

4. Unless
It's Howard Dean, then it goes from being a gift to "Not Presidential". Go figure!
