Just two quick questions for DUers in the know.
1.) Do you think that Cheney and the other PNACers really gave a lot of thought to who they would use for their 'front' man when they selected the Idiot-In-Chief?

2.) What has happened to all those little hags and haglettes that were saying that Rummy was such a 'stud muffin' right after the attack on Iraq? Do you think they realized that dreaming of having sex with the guy could almost be classified as necrophelia?

Just wondering.

1. They must have been drooling over the Shrub in the years
leading up to the 2000 election. They knew they had a spineless, malleable, unthinking, pile of clay that would never question or lead or show any kind of independent thought or leadership. An "enhanced" version of the senile gipper. And man, were they right.

2. #1 yes
I remember Bush being anointed by the GOP powers well before I even knew what he looked like.

#two, lol, I forgot about that sex symbol stuff with Rummy. I remember Tim Russert asking him about it and Rummy giggling like a schoolgirl. That was a long time ago.

3. Without a doubt!
Can't remember which documentary included this
tidbit, but basically it outlined the fact that as early as 1998,
the neo-con cabal ascended on the pig farm to begin
briefing/preparing the spawn of Poppy for the gig.
No doubt, they preyed upon his religious delusional state
in their grooming. Convincing him that he had been
revealed to them as the next President by GAWD.

As for the Rummie-Groupies?
They are certainly victims of the Pharma-Cartel.
That can be the only explanation.
Most likely Valium and Zanax addicts who wouldn't
really be cognizant enough to notice if their partner
was dead or alive.

4. A little tin foil sense.
I think they wanted JEB, but, there were other problems.
W got his past cleansed and so, it was best to take a gambit: running against 8 years of prosperity they had denied for six years.

The plan was similar to Dean's. Get the donations before anyone else could get a hold of the primaries. Unlike Dean's Internet method, I'm thinking they were able to use the same method of finding voters as Promise Keepers used to find their own constituants, maybe even the very same lists. Angry white voters who know the code words of "values" et al.

Promise Keepers came out of nowhere. I think they could have hit on the trust of nice church secretaries all over the country.
