"I'm a war president."
"I'm a war president. I make decisions here in the Oval Office in foreign policy matters with war on my mind. Again, I wish it wasn't true, but it is true. And the American people need to know they got a president who sees the world the way it is. And I see dangers that exist, and it's important for us to deal with them."

"War president" sounds like a president who perpetrates war for the fun of it.....Oh, wait....sorry....nevermind...

He's aligning his place in the world with that of a potential war lord, except he'll be able to hold the Constitution hostage instead of food and people.

7. What I heard tonight scares the shit outta me. The man is clearly
a LOLO. a very very challenged person attempting to pass himself off as intelligent.

Rationalizing his way thru the Tim Russet questions in a rambling sort of way as only a loser can... is a Scarey thing to view. This man is close to a breakdown.

Watch him hesitate with the answers, like he has to recollect the answers memorized. Watch him agonize over the process. He must of practiced for days.

he should be close to a breakdown. He is responsible for many needless deaths. A normal person would be guilt-ridden, but I think Bush is a sociopath with no conscience.

6. what a...
pompous bastid. he says he decides on policy with war on his mind. i think this embarrasment has not grown out of his days playing with toy soldiers in sand dumps.
before the iraq invasion, he was quoted as saying he is willing to "give peace a chance." in other words, "i want this war, but for the sake of the 'focus groups' i'll give that thing called peace a chance."
man, you guys HAVE to rid yourself of this boil on your backsides.

See, Chris Penn's character is about as stable as Bush.

15. If we are to believe the GOP line...
On Sept.11, Bush was on Air Force One and someone referred to him as "Mr. President" to which he admonished, "Call me COMMANDER Bush!"

But can you blame him for being the armchair commander? What else does he have to brag about? Not that he can brag about Iraq anyway...

What can be said about this guy that's appropriate for this forum? Let's just say he must have Soldier of Fortune magazines in his bathroom.

...during a 'time of war'. Someone is advising this nutcase that the COEQUAL branches of government can be circumvented much like the people and their Constitution if you can keep the nation on a wartime footing.

- To my way of thinking...this provides even more proof that the Bushies ALLOWED 9-11 to happen so they could get this exact results.

24. What a vision! And they try to nail Dems for negativity?
This ahole is running on fear and hope. And it is the worst kind of hope, it's his hope that things improve if he continues to lower taxes. The only votes King George will win are those that are tied to tax cuts. If the only thing you value in a politician is tax cuts, then you are voting for King George. The nice part is that is a very low base and he has lost it with the rest of the right. He's a borrow and spend conservative that most conservatives can't stand.

30. War on Terror is despicable ploy
Who told Bush the right thing to do when you get attacked asymmetrically is to respond by sending a huge, clunky, noisy, expensive SYMMETRICAL war machine to the wrong country???!!! It's like a guarantee that we won't catch anybody, they can hear us for months as we prepare to go after them! How embarrassingly ineffecient and old fashioned as a defense tactic! War is the WRONG response to terror--besides, what country are we at war with? when do we negotiate a peace? It's a big disgusting Public Relations campaign that's as bad and damaging to the morale of the country as the War on Drugs.

34. I have heard people mention this before:
Bush's evident, unfettered delight when he speaks of death, killing and murder. I never paid too much attention, but I saw the interview and I noticed that glint in his eyes when his attention was turned to killing. His face changed. There is something pathologically wrong with this puny little prick. Very wrong.

When his talking points get around to bloodshed, and include absolutes like "evil" and "justice," he becomes frighteningly clear.

Maybe it's because those elements are so basic that even a little kid has an understanding of their power to shock?

Bush is an idiot, that's the most shared idea all over the world. With a fear ! American people is able to elect a dangerous asshole (with fraud or not. What was a fool like Bush doing in a WH race ?), more than 52% of them are able to follow him in his delirium and now we know the USA could become a real threat for the world. The gap could need much time for being filled.

Our both youths didn't live all the events which got together our countries. And, in a very close futur, The USA and Europe could be on their own way very different and perhaps antagonist. Are Bush's positions and the behaviour of the American people majority the premises right now ?

59. Why Bush is compared to Hitler - his modus operandi is the same!
"If you cannot create war then at least continue to propagate the idea that war is coming. Never leave people in peace, because when they are in peace, you are nobody. Then they don't need you; your very purpose is gone. They need you only when there is danger; so create danger. If there is not real danger, at least create the climate of a false danger". - - Adolph Hitler
