Garry Trudeau is a bonesman
or at least that's what this site's skull and bones membership list says:

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/bones.htm

maybe not a credible source. does anyone know if trudeau is, in fact, a bonesman? he did attend tale in the late 60's. if he really is a bonesman, then i would imagine he knows chimpy.

1. He was a Yalie in the late 60's
A pal was a classmate.

I learned tonight that Dana Milbank of the Washington Post is a bonesman.

Don't know about bonesman status and Trudeau.

4. I figure it's him
He would have been in the same time as *. Shrub - 1968, Trudeau - 1970.

That's interesting.

It's a Senior-year thing, IIRC.

7. But Bonesmen don't know each other...
Just a reminder...

Russert: This is what John Kerry had to say last year. He said that his colleagues are appalled at the quote "President's lack of knowledge. They've managed him the same way they've managed Ronald Reagan. They send him out to the press for one event a day. They put him in a brown jacket and jeans and get him to move some hay or move a truck, and all of a sudden he's the Marlboro Man. I know this guy. He was two years behind me at Yale. I knew him, and he's still the same guy.”

Did you know him at Yale?

President Bush: No

Russert: How do you respond to that?

President Bush: Politics. I mean, this is—you know, if you close your eyes and listen carefully to what you just said, it sounds like the year 2000 all over again.

Russert: You were both in Skull and Bones, the secret society.

President Bush: It's so secret we can't talk about it.

Russert: What does that mean for America? The conspiracy theorists are going to go wild.

Just reading the Bush transcript...
oh man

This guy doesn't even remember people in his own fraternity?

8. You have to wonder though
why an elite secret fraternity of powerful men hellbent on dominating the modern world would allow their membership list to be made public (and to remain public if it was a genuine list.) Then, you have to question how serious of a scholar this guy is if his idea of research is: "For months I searched the Web looking for a list of the members" and when that didn't pan out, he was "given" a secret notebook with all the members' names in it. I'm sure there are powerful groups at work controlling the sway of our politics, but I doubt that the serious ones are written down in a notebook somewhere.

11. Like Jack says, Scroll and Key.
Some other Scroll and Key'rs:

Cole Porter, Calvin Trillin, Benjamin Spock.

Looks like a hipper members' roll than S&B.
