"The First Special Ed President"
I know we're late on the West Coast, but we just saw the MTP interview.

This was my 11 year old daughter's assessment.

I would add: Nervous, defensive, ill-informed, superficial, phony smile, unable to string coherent sentences together, rambling, irrational and, overall, a small man, not Presidential.

This small man is vulnerable. I can feel it. My kid can feel it.

1. I mIssed MT Russert...
Did Russert give * Dennis Miller pass, or did he actually grill * into the ground?

If Russert really did go after *, then ther'd be headlines everywhere, but there's not, so what happened?

4. I thought he raked him over the coals pretty well.
He did a good job of laying out the facts, particularly in regards to the administration's economic record and the ever-changing rhetoric on Iraq.

5. Lies and the Liars Who Tell Them
Leyton's right. Bush was struggling to fend off questions about the BS factor regarding the decision to invade Iraq. He even bored himself! We know this because he said, at least three times, "I know I'm being repetitive here. . . ." It sounded like he was trying to say, 'this is the reason we're giving. Why aren't you getting it?'

He came off dumb and defensive. And even my kid thought his smirk was phony. But then it always is.

6. We need a new program --
"No President Left Behind."

(another unfunded mandate)
