1. This is a MUST see
Especially the last fifteen minutes or so when they basically say Bush is breaking the law as we speak (but in admittingly vague language). "No president is above the law, even in 2003." (I'm trying to do this from memory, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at what I was hearing.)

2. Just watched. We are living our own Watergate-type scandal in 2003.
We have learned nothing from history. The only difference is that our current Congress and the
Court are much too controlled by the cabal.

6. I watched it live
back then. Watched it again tonight. We are certainly having a repeat in the WH right now. Somebody is going to crack, turn honest.

7. You got it.
Some of the mil and intel and State types are doing what they can, but it is like Deep Throat's attitude: the truth cannot simply be declaimed, it must be sought and obtained. TIED down. We're getting steering currents, but there is much seeking ahead. In this one, I think it is "Follow the Power".

2$ on Cheney's nose.

(aWol is irrelevant, practically)

8. The program sure did jog the old memory, didn't it?
I was around when it happened too, but had forgoteen a lot of the details. This program was terrific!

12. It almost seems like yesterday.....
that Watergate was taking place. At the time, I felt Nixon did more to undermind the foundation of democracy than anyone had ever done before. There were times I wondered if our country was actually going to be able to recover from the damage that his corrupt adminstration did to our country.

I also feel that the current administration is the most dangerous group that has been in the white house since Nixon. To me, there are numerous similarities between the two. I could half-way stomach Regan and Bush 41, however, this group of people seem like a carbon copy of the Nixon white house. It truly has me very concerned....

13. We are having a repeat
except back then, the media was not in Nixon's back pocket.

10. Very well done, and damning for
the present misadministration. I kept picking up on intentional, sometimes vague, parallels to what
is going on now. Then, right, the last 15 minutes a definite warning about presidents obsessed with
ultimate power, even in 2003, secrecy, "an exclusive club." Wham! Come on, Deep Throat!

And this BS today about claiming responsibility. Too late! The water is already muddied.

11. also...
I got the impression that this piece was intended not only to have us remember history, but to motivate us
as citizens to protest in droves like during Vietnam. If Iraq has gotten far worse by inauguration, and we are
(swallows bile rising in throat) inaugurating * again, I hope to participate in massive demonstration along the inaugural route as happened with Nixon.

14. It gave me goosebumps
The parallels between what happened 30 years ago and what is happening now are astounding. The arrogance of the Nixon White House had no match...until King George II came along.

15. Fascinating to hear the actual Nixon Watergater's look back on their
own deeds and then reflect on what it's ethical and legal implications.
