17. Speaking of Lou Dobbs,
Take a look @ this popup on the Lou Dobbs website. It lists companies that are offshoring. On the CNN Lou Dobbs webpage, it's under the red subhead of "Exporting America", & it says: "Click here for the list of companies that the `Lou Dobbs Tonight staff has confirmed to be Exporting America."

15. It's booming for the corporatists and CEOs and that's all they ever really
cared about. The companies are doing great because by moving all the jobs to third world countries, they don't have to pay wages or benefits anymore and they can work these people to death.

20. North Carolina factory closing... 351 lay-offs
Factory closings a setback for WNC
By Dale Neal, Staff Reporter Jan. 22, 2004 10:43 p.m.
MARION - Marvin Riddle Jr. suspected the day he dreaded was coming but said "You put it in the back of your mind."

Riddle was among the 351 workers at Drexel Heritage who were told Thursday that Marion's oldest manufacturing plant would close in April. Drexel officials also announced the closing of a smaller veneer plant employing 45 workers in Morganton.

Just thought I would link the LBN stories of the last 24 hours alone regarding disappearing jobs.

So where are all of the announcements of these newly created jobs that make up for those lost in the last week alone... just to stem net job loss... or where are those 200,000 additional new jobs (on top of all of those lost) for a net gain?
