OK, I'm late to the game, but I think the Democratic Party doesn't
want to win. It really is that simple, they should be ramming the O'Neill thing, and not condemning MoveOn. But no, who outrages them?

Is there hope?

The O'Neill thing is a big yawner. The hope I see is that guys who have been trying to sell positive messages, Edwards and Kerry, have been surging at the expense of the two anger mongers.

2. Edwards has moved up
He really has caught on in the last few days in Iowa among undecideds.

3. We're running clark the republican (ex)
I really wonder when I see the support this guy has, wasn't less then 9 months ago he was talking up bush's war and a registered republican (well maybe the registered part is over the top :) but in action...).

5. I hear he's #2 on most ballots
I guess he's too inexperienced to win the nomination but what a great #2! This guy has about zero in the unlikable catagory.

4. The problem is WHAT do they want to "win"

It's not a change of government, not regime change.

The prize here is putting a Democratic face on the PNAC strategies.

If they do "win," expect some very visible cosmetic changes and new names for things.
