Left Kerry leaned toward Dean now back to Kerry.
I began to lean toward Dean because of Kerry's weak position on gay rights. I think today that Kerry would be the most electable and of course I agree with his politics for the most part, as I do Dean's. I think Dean is valnurable in several areas:

1. Supports a "tax increase".
2. Supports the "Homosexual Agenda".
3. Opposed a war that will bring down violators of war crimes.

I realize some of the above ignore the reasons why we were told we were going, and to war and uses Republican terms but I think they will be effective with the public. The "Tax increase" will be the worst for Dean in my view.

2. Left home to go to work now back home.
Just thought you might like to know.

I wasn't aware that Kerry loves the budget busting Bush tax cuts, hates gays and thinks an illegal, unilateral, supposedely "pre-emptive" war that was sold to us with lies is the best idea since sliced bread!

No wonder you like him better!

4. Quick to conclude
I am aware of where Kerry stands. I used Republican terms because that is what the voters will here with his 200 million plus dollors. I think the will swallow it.

5. Well

1. Supports a "tax increase".

I support a tax increase on the rich to recoup the ill-gotten gains they have recieved from the Bushies.

2. Supports the "Homosexual Agenda".

I believe gays have a natural right to live free from persecution. I don't have a problem with Dean's position on this.

3. Opposed a war that will bring down violators of war crimes.

Well, I suppose he does oppose an invasion of the US to apprehend Bush and his junta and his corpoprate cronies. I guess you can't have everything.

I haven't made up my mind for whom I will vote. However, Dean is high on my list.

6. Kerry is very supportive of GLTB issues.
John Kerry backed a non-discriminatory policy for the armed forces when Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich tied the issue around the newly elected Bill Clinton's neck in 1992. Instead of using his "Press Honeymoon" to get a progressive agenda instituted, let alone accomplished, the VRWC bashed and bashed at Clinton for ever having brought the subject up in the campaign. Of course the "don't ask, don't tell" triangulation just put the issue on the back burner and got everybody frustrated.

More recently, Kerry let go on the emotionally repressed Senator Rick Santorum:

Boston, MA –  John Kerry today issued the following statement regarding the remarks made by Senator Rick Santorum:

John Kerry said, “The White House speaks the rhetoric of compassionate conservatism but they’re silent while their chief lieutenants make divisive and hurtful comments that have no place in our politics.  The White House says Santorum is ‘one of the original compassionate conservatives’ who ‘has a philosophy that’s good for the people of Pennsylvania no matter who they are.’  Every day in our country, gay and lesbian Americans get up, go to work, pay their taxes, support their families, and contribute to the nation they love.  These comments take us backwards in America.”
