Letter to Salt Lake Tribune: "Between the lines"

It is clear after reading The Tribune's endorsement of President Bush that the editorial board was instructed only to endorse Bush and that how that endorsement was presented was up to the staff.

I applaud the editorial staff's ingenuity for technically meeting requirements, while at the same time pointing out all the reasons Bush is a lousy and destructive president, making their true feelings clear.

A thinking person reads your endorsement as one of John Kerry. But then, a thinking person was already planning on voting Kerry/Edwards anyway.

as few as there are.

given their lackluster editorial stance.
