John Kerry's Testimony in 1971

A reminder that here is what the swiftcons, the zellcons, the neocons, the paleocons, and the freepcons are so upset about. I note that they are all, in the final analysis, Republican warmongers. 1. Kerry in 1971

It is clear from the speech, and from this excerpt, that Kerry reported hearsay evidence from an earlier conference.

Contrary to reich wing lies that are posted throughout Internet forums, Kerry did NOT "confess" to killing babies, or shooting them in the back of the head, or violating Geneva Conventions. The reichsters continue to say this bushshit but the Democrats stupidly refuse to set the record straight. When I reply to these lies from the reichsters they mistake me (an Independent) for a Democrat!


If you get the full transcript you will see that Kerry's principal idea in that speech was to make an impassioned plea for Congress to give further aid to unemployed returning veterans. His speech is especially solicitous of returning minority vets. I note that nowhere in the Internet do you see reichsters pointing this out. Moreover, nowhere do you see Democrats pointing this out because they are just too timid to answer reichwing bushshit.


For the record, I cannot blame the reichsters for their continuous campaign of lies and distortions. They are natural born liars and are determined to have their Fourth Reich here in the States. They will stop at nothing to get it.

I put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Democrats whose timidity is utterly disgusting. They refuse to answer the lies, the distortions, the fabrications. It's all a matter of turn the other cheek and wipe Republican ass for them. No matter how hard I try to convince these idiots to answer and to fight back, they refuse because they are just to scared to do so.

Four more years of Bush and the USA will be FUBAR. There is still a chance that this tragedy can be stopped. But if we are forced to rely on these timid Democrats, a win for Bushshit is virtually assured in November.

Armageddon is sure to follow.

2. i heard the coverage on Democracy Now

then I watched it on C-span. C-span had some of the questions and answers after the initial statement. The part that was new to me was the remark JK made about violence on TV and how many murders the average kid saw. For 1971, I thought that comment was far sighted.

The testimony as a whole was not a rant. It was not a smear job or a blame game. It was well thought out and it was positive. Positive that we had a bad situation and that the best way to find an answer was an open, public conversation. But definite that an answer was needed ASAP.
