Got A $64 Million Tax Refund In 2010

<snip>

"Today, BusinessWeek reports that Whirpool, the world’s largest appliance maker, has been a major tax dodger. The company had negative income tax rates over the past three years, and reported a $64 million income tax benefit last year."

3. Those bastards left thousands of Hoosiers without jobs over the last
few years. They closed up mfg here and took all the jobs to Mexico. They had been here for decades.

4. Same for us Hawkeyes
They bought Maytag and closed down Newton. Is there any financial reporter that can go through these tax returns and do a story on what laws are applied to avoid taxes? I think alot has to do with transfer cost of these foreign goods into the U.S. The value added in the other country's tax rate is used to avoid taxes in the U.S. They don't show profit for selling the products in the U.S.

A solution would be tariffs on imported goods. Suddenly the stated value goes down and not up.
