"What is more fiscally responsible than denying ....funding to Planned Parenthood of America"
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/05/opinion/05collins.html?src=me&ref=general

As if we didn’t have enough wars, the House of Representatives has declared one against Planned Parenthood.

Maybe it’s all part of a grand theme. Last month, they voted to repeal the health care law. This month, they’re going after an organization that provides millions of women with both family-planning services and basic health medical care, like pap smears and screening for diabetes, breast cancer, cervical cancer and sexually transmitted diseases.

Our legislative slogan for 2011: Let Them Use Leeches.

Where? I presume that they will also be cutting funding to Crisis Pregnancy Centers that intentionally provide false and misleading information? :eyes:

5. Jobs and a living wage is one of the most important things
facing this country at this time.
It would only make sense that the elected officials would
address this concern. So the only thing that I can gather
from all the idiot bills that the are promoting is their way
to create jobs. By the way they do not care if there are jobs or not.

The radical republican agenda is to squeeze the middle and bottom.
Tax revenue is down so they will cut social programs and keep the
wars and foreign aid. Deregulate every thing they can. Further
forcing more and more people out of their homes, lowing wages, and
putting more pressure on social networks. Lower wages will further reduce revenue
forcing more cuts. A very vicious circle.

7. Above all they want
the economy in the tank for the 2012 elections and they are taking steps to accomplish that goal.

3. How is it fiscally responsible
to cause more poor, young, unmarried girls to have more unwanted babies?

Have they ever thought about that? Have they considered the real consequences of their laws instead of just their religious beliefs? I know they haven't. They're not rational.

Anyone who thought they did is very gullible.

Obviously lots of gullible voters in this country. And lots of other people too stupid to vote at all, enabling the rabid 20% to get these fucks into office.

4. Take Away the GOP's License to Practice Medicine--STAT!
Get government out of medicine entirely--they can pay the bills, prosecute the negligent, but hands off the procedures and protocols and access to all legitimate care for all!

6. How about denying payment for the consequences too
If you wind up with more STD's, undiagnosed cervical and breast cancers, unwanted babies, ignorant sexually active teenagers, etc...makes for great Reality TV, apparently, but there is a special hell reserved for the bastards that would wish that upon the country.
