Remembering Zorro's Vietnam Legacy by Don North (1-20-11 Consortium News)
Barry Zorthian, who died last month at the age of 90, was one of the last surviving government officials who shaped American role in the Vietnam War, a man who also stood at the shadowy intersection between press management and psychological warfare.

Contrast and compare with the doc linked below (The National Security Archive/Electronic Briefing Book 177)

Rumsfeld's Roadmap to Propaganda

Secret Pentagon "roadmap" calls for "boundaries" between "information operations" abroad and at home but provides no actual limits as long as US doesn't "target" Americans

Fwiw, I saw Henry Kissinger on Charlie Rose's show last night in the context of his PRC contact during the Nixon admin-how old is that war criminal anyway-just look at some of Kissinger Associates "contributions" to the world like Bush/Cheney Iraq Procounsel J. Paul Bremer...

Spin, spin, spin away!!!!

1. Gooood Morning Viet Nam !!
"At Yale, Zorthian first practiced journalism – along with the art of schmoozing the rich and powerful. He was editor of The Yale Daily News and became a member of the secret campus society, Skull and Bones, a controversial fraternity whose members included both Presidents Bush and other American powerbrokers."

This about covers it.
