Socialism? The Rich Are Winning the US Class War: Facts Show Rich Getting Richer, Everyone Else Poorer

by Bill Quigley

The rich and their paid false prophets are doing a bang up job deceiving the poor and middle class. They have convinced many that an evil socialism is alive in the land and it is taking their fair share. But the deception cannot last – facts say otherwise.

Yes, there is a class war – the war of the rich on the poor and the middle class – and the rich are winning. That war has been going on for years. Look at the facts – facts the rich and their false paid prophets do not want people to know.

Let Glen Beck go on about socialists descending on Washington. Allow Rush Limbaugh to rail about “class warfare for a leftist agenda that will destroy our society.” They are well compensated false prophets for the rich.

The truth is that for the several decades the rich in the US have been getting richer and the poor and middle class have been getting poorer. Look at the facts then make up your own mind. .........(more)

3. "War's over man, Wormer dropped the big one."
Not to make too light of a deadly serious subject; but in reality, unless there is a massive uprising of the underclasses, this is not really a "war" any more...the rich have WON and they are using the power that they have attained and bought and continue to buy to serve as a mere police action at this point. They want 100% because having 95% is just not good enough....sons of bitches should go to sleep clutching their pillows in fear that I would ever attain power, because that 95% would very quickly become 75% and be on its way to under 50% in a decade!

5. " The rich are winning their class war, and it is time for everyone else to fight back"
"The rich talk about the rise of socialism to divert attention from the fact that they are devouring the basics of the poor and everyone else. Many of those crying socialism the loudest are doing it to enrich or empower themselves. They are right about one thing – there is a class war going on in the US. The rich are winning their class war, and it is time for everyone else to fight back for economic justice."

6. Yeah, the rich have won so much already that...
They can complain loudly and forcefully about "class war" if our side even says anything at all. It is shameless, that more of us can't stand up for ourselves.

Sometimes it makes me so damn mad I can hardly stand it.

7. Class war is an constant war. We are ALWAYS in a class war.
The rich are always fighting it. And they are always winning it. They are always recruiting the media as active parts of their armies int his war, and the media serve them well.

Very few people really fights on our side. Anybody who tries ends up getting targeted from all sides as an evil enemy of all of all that is normal and good, supposedly out to destroy the very fabric of society.

Look at the reputation Unions get? Do you really think that unions earn that evil reputation? Especially compared to the evil that corporations do? Compared to the evil that unregulated capitalism does? Child labor does? Sweat Shops? Poverty? Institutionalized routinely stolen wages, time, and rights? Unsafe labor conditions? Compared to all of this, people worry instead about how evil UNIONS are, and you think this is a coincidence?

No. It is a deliberate distraction and misdirection so you won't think about what the companies are doing.

Of course, we are only told that we are in a class war when we do something to fight back. Them attacking us is never called warfare, so that it can be ignored. But us fighting back is always called an attack of class warfare, so that we can be blamed. One-sided recognition is just one more weapon in the arsenal the rich use against all of us.

You knew that didn't you?

9. Let's face it

The RW who are protecting their illegally obtained profits have the military industrial complex behind them, along with private mercenaries. 'we who are left' are beating ourselves up because we do not know how on Earth to defeat these enormous corporate entities.

I think the first thing to do is to realize what an enormous job we have to fight corruption in this country. Demonstrating, writing articles and books, keeping track of all the crimes, the money, the real history and the war crimes are all good--but what comes next?

We will demonstrate, just like France and Greece and Britain, but these powerful entities will just go on with their agendas.

The distortion on the left has created active extremists, while moderate Republicans have no voice. These invisible moderates are actually cognizant of the class war and can be unified to share in opposition to them, but have to be shown the truth.
