Spy swap with Russia seems a bit fishy
WASHINGTON—It is all a bit fishy, the climactic swap that ends the biggest spy scandal since the Cold War.

As the Suburban Ten fly scot-free to Moscow — replete with their children, leaving mere guilty pleas in their wake — some in Washington are already muttering about a lopsided “catch and release” outcome.

The FBI spent eight hard-earned years watching the Russians; the Russians spent 10 easy-breezy days in detention. And now a trade, for four Russian prisoners with apparently little connection to the Americans?

Perhaps there is a hidden bait-and-switch that will show this to be a better deal for the U.S. But nothing so far is obvious, stagecraft experts here say.

1. Did they really mean to say "stagecraft experts"?
I find nothing odd in the situation, Obama wants to make nice with Russia, and he is not going to let some Rambo wannabes in the spook corps interfere.

4. Yes fishy - just like two very tall buildings collapsing and destroying evidence
stored in the bottom - the government under any party seems to be corrupt and hidden and we really have no idea what they are doing behind the curtain

6. You mean 3 don't you?
Because that 3rd building with 47 floors really was the prize. It's amazing what fire can do in the 21st century. LOL! Who'da thunk?
