Ya THINK?!?!
Does America Need a Third Party?
I should think the answer to that question is a resounding YES!

1. Hmmm. Depends on how they operate; if they follow the rethug
manual, it wouldn't matter because rethugs are totally invested in doing absolutely nothing except complaining and obstructing.

2. If there's only two or three, yes
but envision not just three, but THIRTY parties! A "party of no" would quickly alienate and marginalize themselves.
If you have to keep a coalition going, compromise and cooperation is a given.

3. I like your optimism, I just don't see it. Parties require lots of money
to keep afloat, and I don't see people or corps. contributing to unknowns, which is what they would be. UNLESS! A corp. starts their own party, and that's one scary thought that I think, because of the latest SC ruling, would now be legal. :scared:

4. Are you under the impression that the only 'known' people
are active in RNC or DNC politics? No one else is known? That is hilarious. And why assume that 'known' Democrats would not come to a new Party? Not all of us are religious bigots, tied to discrimination and dogma, and many of us are uncomfortable with that whole stance. In short many of us are liberals, not conservatives.
But sure, none of our writers, artists, business people are known. None of them. And of course, re: Barack, it takes four years to go from unknown to President. So that factor does not seem so daunting to me.

5. The two parties have got theirs,
and they're not willing to share. That's why they've put every goddam rig into the system they can think of!
