President Obama went to Dover Air Force Base in the middle of the night to salute the 18 fallen soldiers who came back from Afghanistan. Did he use it as a photo op because he knows he is unpopular with the military? I don't remember President Bush ever going there with all those photographers around him.

1. What Bush did is irrelevant. Photography is where it's at. This admin is

changing the policy about the closed curtains. If he went without the photographers it would be more about secrecy. If the photographers went without him, he would be criticized for not going. It was reported that he received permission to approach or speak to the families - from the families.

He is changing policy - for the better.

Who was going to wake Bush in the middle of the night - anyway. Mr. 9:30 guy. And middle of the night is when the flight(s) arrive.
