Carmaker sticks with business lobby opposed to Obama climate bill despite online campaign from Prius owners

Officials from the US chamber of commerce told Politico today that in private conversations the car company had been supportive of its campaign against a proposed law to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

1. The eco-friendly car is good business, and so is pseudo-slavery
Toyota Plant workers are:

Stripped from their passports.

Are not even covered by a Japanese labor law, working 112 hours a week.

Get paid 1/3 of the legal minimum wage

Are forced to live in assigned housing

Are charged extraordinary amounts of rent

If they complain they are deported.
