Day-to-Day Malarkey Spares No One

From B.C. to Iceland, from pole to pole, it is there

I realize, of course, that I’ve been talking about almost nothing but MALARKEY these past few columns – and for a few minutes I though I should apologize for it, but then I con­cluded that no, that’s what this column is supposed to be about! What I really hope is that the malarkey I’ve been talking about connects in some way to your lives – the day-to-day realities in which we are all engaged.

Every day we have tasks to do – pick up the dry clean­ing, pay the parking tickets, select the wine, make lunch. These are not always so in­teresting, but they are nearly always riddled with MALARKEY! And I’ve had enough of it – but what can you do? I’m hoping to come up with some real, practical solutions for you over the course of this column’s life.
