Halliburton was caught bribing foreign officials for business, and now is trying to settle with the US government rather than see several of its executives go to jail.

2. the crap halliburton has pulled with the shoddy electrical to showers and
overcharging for crap.... and now this!!!! why the HELL do they still have a contract with the government!! they should not be allowed anywhere near government contracts!!

5. Probably trying to get it done before Holder gets confirmed.
I bet Specter's hold on Holder is for the purpose of this and other similar stuff they are desperately trying to get swept away before the new government has a chance to affect it.
