Support Damon Weaver to Interview Obama, Meet Malia, Sasha

Reporter Damon Weaver is waging a campaign to interview Barack Obama, and he’s being helped by HuffPo and the Miami Heat. Please spread the word and promote this campaign supporting an interview of Obama by this pint-sized ten year old. (Certainly he has more integrity than most reporters out there.)

I do support Damon and wish him luck, I don't support a grass roots effort to get him into the interview. That would open the door to every stage struck kid, dad and mom to demand the same thing. Obama would be opening a real can of worms. If he wants to do that fine but I don't support every cute ten year old who wants help in getting to the WH, President and his family, and I wouldn't want to help that effort out.

I saw an interview on MSNBC, and they had a clip of his school "tv studio" -- it was adorable to see those little kids doing such grown-up work! :)

Kids need to dream big. It's wonderful inspiration and motivation to do well in school and in life,.
