How dare them scale down their convention
in 2004 not only did we have the disgusting Purple Heart Band-aid fiasco (they rushed down to the floor and told people to knock it off) but the entire theme of the convention was 9/11 9/11 9/11.

Party !!
Dance!!
Fancy gowns!!
9/11 !!
Party !!
2:1 police protection !!
9/11!!
Party!!
Dance on the 9/11 graves!!!
Funny hats!!
9/11!!
Lalalala dance on the bodies of the dead!!
Tours of ground zero
Party!!!
Dance!!!

And now they are trying to distance themselves from their televised apathy and "So This Is Working Very Well For Them"

How dare they

Well it won't work. No matter how many pundits try desperately to claim this somehow is to their advantage "New Orleans" is eternally linked to George Bush and the Republicans.

How dare they insult us ....oh wait the Palin pick was just more of the same

Party!!
Dance on the 9/11 graves!!!
Funny hats!!
9/11!!

1. It does testifiy to their failed leadership. If they had done their job, they'd have the convention

2. Bush and Cheney called McCain's bluff in picking Palin. They aren't going to Minnesota,
and they aren't taping messages. My guess is that Rove is orchestrating this to show Mccain that its a scary world out there on your own.

4. I think it's the opposite...
Having Bush Co. give speeches would defy McSame's new "change" mantra. I think it's Rovian from the other side.

5. It would seem that the republicans think
nominating a presidential candidate is less important than a holiday picnic.
