Newt asks: "Do All Democrats Agree With Congressman Pete Stark?"
Edited on Mon Oct-22-07 06:14 PM by faygokid
And then of course calls for a House vote to censure Pete Stark. My, how surprising to see the GOP once again try to get Dems to eat their own, but you can't blame Newt - it usually works. I can't speak for all Dems, but the answer to Newt from this Dem is YES I agree with Rep. Stark. Make that HELL YES.

"Of course Republicans immediately objected to Congressman Stark's comments. They demanded that he retract his statement and apologize. So what did he do?

Stark issued a statement saying Republicans should apologize for voting against SCHIP.

It's clear that no expressions of regret will be forthcoming from Congressman Stark. He obviously stands by his comments. But what about his Democratic colleagues? Do they agree that the sacrifice of our troops in Iraq is meaningless? Do they agree that the President is "amused" by it?

One way we can know for sure is if the House votes immediately to censure Congressman Stark. . ."

4. This one does. Although I must correct him..they did NOT immediately
object. They mulled it over later and talked amongst themselves and then got on the bandwagon. At least the Dems had enough spine to howl protest when Schmidt attacked Murtha. Now THAT was immediate. Wish they could show that much spine in everything else they do.

8. Newt's answer to everything is that Congress should censor a Dem
Tired old tune.

Newt, first tell Bush to wipe that permanent smirk off his face before you go criticizing any comment about Bush being amused.

16. How come republicans don't jump in there and want
coulter, rush, and all the Fox slime group censured for the outrageous names they call the Democrats. Damn I guess it is only supposed to be against the law to call the republicans what they are, but they can make up any names they want and call Democrats and they should just take it.

and do something with 'eye of Newt?'. I would've, along with 'tongue of Jessie' (Helms, who was in office @ the time of dumb-ass Newt).
